Hello, I am a data-driven professional from Columbia, Missouri. With a natural inclination towards inquisitive thinking and a strong drive to solve problems, I am passionate about utilizing data to uncover valuable insights and enhance organizational efficiency. I have recently completed a Google Data Analytics certification in conjunction with a professional development program through Merit America, and I am eager to take the next steps toward launching my career in Data Analytics. Drawing from my extensive background in the hospitality industry spanning nearly a decade, I have gained a distinct perspective on the significance of efficiency and organization in the workplace. This experience has honed my skills in analytical thinking, enabling me to adeptly synthesize complex data sets and identify opportunities for process improvement. Collaborating seamlessly with teams and spearheading projects to successful fruition are aspects of my work that I take a lot of pride in. As I make the transition into the field of Data Analytics, I am thrilled by the prospect of utilizing my skills and expertise to assist organizations in harnessing the power of data to attain their goals. I am committed to continued training to expand on my mastery of industry-relevant knowledge, as well as remaining agile and responding to the changing demands of an industry that is being transformed by the advent of AI-powered tools. Being neuro-divergent, I also have a vested interest in being a part of the changes that I want to see in the world by exploring and expanding on alternative avenues of education and job training that empower workers to gain in-demand skills and realize their career potential, regardless of their means or background.
Ideal Workplace Values
I have ADHD, and I do my best work when I am in a quiet and secluded space. I also work really well under pressure, but not so well under stress, and I think it's an important distinction that comes down to attitude. I thrive in an environment or culture that handles pressure or otherwise demanding situations with composure and intensity, rather than anger and frustration.

ADHD can be a blessing and a curse. While I may get briefly distracted by every little idea that pops into my head, some of those ideas are pretty good! I like to think of the ADHD thought process as branching capillary veins of thought that find their way into every nook and cranny, while a neuro-typical thought process is more like an arterial vein. Both have strengths and weaknesses, and they work best together!
