Ideal Workplace Values

I love workplaces which respect the rights for Autistic people (for example, walking around the room when need be, working standing up and sitting down to respond to body’s needs) I also love workplaces where people can use each of their natural different communication styles (AAC, speaking, sign language) to converge upon a decision for the whole team. This means that the teams here are responsive to new ideas, and I get to learn to communicate even more effectively because my natural communication skill system adapts as others share their skills)

Neuroexceptional Talents

I am ADHD, Autistic. I have what can be described as “persistent drive for autonomy.” I can function very well in an open environment. I am passionate about understanding always what the next step is, while having the compulsive need to keep everyone engaged with the work by explaining and connecting what is going on. I also ask a lot of open-ended questions that connect reasonings and which discuss possible outcomes. This improves the flow because now I have a clearer picture of how everybody works with one another through the systems we are using and, with the eye on improving the systems themselves and the environment each works with.
