About Me

#ActuallyAutistic

I am a disabled person currently trying to find a workplace that suits me. I've had trouble in the past due to my mobility issues as well as my chronic illnesses, but I'm still hopeful that the right environment is out there for me! I am an aspiring college student and I hope to be able to get a degree someday in a field where I can help people like me. I've faced a lot of tragedy but I am not allowing those situations to control the rest of my life. I'm not giving up and I think that's one of the best qualities I have inside and out of the workplace.

Ideal Workplace Values

I believe structure and communication are some of the most important things in the workplace. As long as people communicate and are open to constructive criticism there can be growth anywhere! I also believe a big component of a health workplace is equality and equity. People should not be treated different no matter their circumstances, skin color, appearance, or any other factors that are not directly inhibiting work. Tattoos and piercings do not mean someone can't be an outstanding realtor or any other "profession". Those are important to make sure the workplace isn't a stressful or harmful place!
