Isaac Winfree
He/him
I am a recent Masters graduate holding a Master's Degree in Digital Forensics and Security. After obtaining my undergraduate degree in anticipation to become a police officer I found out that my neurodivergence was best suited to information technology/security based employment. To find the best of both worlds, I decided to pursue computer forensics and security as my primary expertise. I can say with confidence that this has been the best decision of my life. Pursuing a career in digital forensics and information security has allowed me to work as in intelligence analyst for Operation Underground Railroad, where I led intelligence gathering efforts in South America investigating human traffickers and human trafficking survivors. During my tenure as an information security intern at Marshall University, I collaborated with the Chief Information Officer to enact a campus wide phishing campaign to educate and inform 11,000 organizational end users of the dangers of phishing. I am eager to continue to be an asset in the digital forensics and information security world, and I look forward to further improving my skillsets in the pursuit of strengthening information security and digital forensics disciplines.
Ideal Workplace Values
An ideal work place for me is a place that is continuously changing and evolving, not staying in the same place as it was 20 years ago. I wish to work in a place that places value in the unique gifts inherent to neuro-divergent individuals maintaining the forward thinking mindset prerequisite to a prosperous future.
