Who You Are:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who lives in the Salt Lake City area. This is a hybrid position (remote and at our client’s downtown SLC office).
What You'll Do:
As a Software Engineer at auticon you will be working on our client projects within various domains including entertainment, utilities, healthcare, and finance.
- With the support of your auticon Delivery Manager and Job Coach you will work with our client’s team to build solutions for their products and services
- Design, develop, and test front end, back end, services, batch, streaming, or other software
- Own the quality of the solutions you create through unit testing, automated testing, and supporting your solutions both before and after they’re in production
- Contribute to a productive agile environment by partnering closely with necessary stakeholders, deploying often, and inspecting and adapting as needed
- Share and receive feedback and knowledge to help our clients improve their systems and products
- Learn new skills on the job or in formal/informal trainings and work across different areas of software and data
- Work on internal auticon projects as assigned when not working on client projects
- Hybrid work from our client’s office in downtown Salt Lake City (current schedule is one week every four weeks at the client’s office, schedule is subject to change)
What You Bring:
- Degree, preferably in related field such as computer science/information systems or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of on-the-job experience in front-end or full-stack web development
- Comfortable with modern front-end web development technologies and techniques (HTML5/CSS3)
- Proficient with TypeScript and Java with hands on experience with Angular
- Comfortable with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS
- Ability to work in a team
- Reporting, documentation, attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication including direct client interaction

- Flexibility with change in project requirements and project changes
- Authorized to work in the United States
