In this role, you may:
- Develop data models integrating multiple data sources
- Use analytics capabilities to solve complex business problems
- Perform detailed analysis of financial, risk, regulatory and other data
- Perform analysis of findings and trends
- Develop customized reports, ad hoc analyses, or data visualizations to make recommendations for alternatives
- Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
- Understand, document and access risk and controls process in alignment with risk management framework
- Provide oversight and monitoring of risk-based compliance programs
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using common data analytics tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS or python to analyze large data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Familiarity or experience with the concepts of relational databases and statistical analysis, and the ability to fundamentally understand data relationships, data structure and / or data transformation techniques
- Experience in the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities across the company in alignment with risk management framework
- Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls
- Familiarity with risk-based compliance programs, laws and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Curious, inquisitive nature - an interest or willingness to learn and understand the larger context or 'story' within the data - what is important, and why
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills, and able to ask clarifying questions to confirm understanding when necessary
- Documentation skills - experience documenting and explaining the approach or methodology that allowed them to solve a problem or reach a conclusion
- Presentation of key findings, analysis and key message creation
- Working familiarity with at least one BI and/or analytic tool – examples include Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, and ability to learn new analytic tools and practices
- Participation in a neurodiversity training or support program through a 3rd party, nonprofit, or education program
