Jon Pennington
I have over 10 years of experience in the field of HR people analytics and project management of employee surveys, as well as serving as an internal research consultant and survey consultant for several different corporations. I am also autistic & I would thrive in a corporate environment that is inclusive and has high psychological safety. I have a talent for analyzing employee data sets & squeezing the insights out of those data sets & making those insights understandable to non-quantitative employees in plain English. In previous jobs, my colleagues called me "the data whisperer" or "the survey guy," because I could always be relied on as an in-house subject matter expert who understood my co-worker's business needs & how I could help them.
Ideal Workplace Values
I like working in data-driven organizations that are focused on solving business problems and finding the truth instead of simply deferring to the highest paid person's opinion. In the realm of office politics, I want to be a "low politics" person who does not add drama to the workplace or attract attention to themselves, but I also do like people & want to have collegial relationships with my co-workers, even though I am an introvert who sometimes gets exhausted from interacting with people. I would like a workplace that values my skills at pattern recognition & my skills in data analysis & allows me to apply those skills to projects that really matter instead of mere busywork.

DataNeuroexceptional Talents
I have an above average ability to recognize patterns that other neurotypical people can't see. This has been very useful to me in knowing how to find insights in abstract data & translate those insights into "plain English" to people who don't have a quantitative or analytic background.
