Lena Dias
I'm a WPI graduate looking for entry-level positions in software engineering (UX/UI or front-end focus) or game development! I'm autistic and full of love for the world and people around me. My deepest passions lie where humans and computers meet; I have a lifelong special interest in strong user experience design, and I combine strong industry-standard software engineering skills with the unique eye of a game designer for user desires! I'm currently working on digitally recreating the FIRST Robotics XRP robot for disadvantaged communities and a game about following OSHA regulations!
Ideal Workplace Values
I thrive in cross-disciplinary teams where individuals all hold an interest in supporting their teammates and lifting each other up! Autonomy is important to me, but I also appreciate strong senior teammates that I can ask questions of. It's also extremely important to me that the workplace be LGBTQ+ friendly, as I am a trans woman!

I've got a knack for empathy in everything I do— in every system I create and line of code I write, I think about who will be interacting with it and how, which makes me a quick learner at anything human-facing.
