I'm a first generation Mexican American. I don't know what that may mean to others, but to me that is love and that is also pride, the love in it is my parents drive to give me a better life and pride to be in the position they've given me. Unfortunately, first generations here we start at the bottom and it's just up from here. I've struggled a lot with learning and succeeding, at first I thought it was me failing, but it wasn't, the same formula can't work for everyone. My greatest accomplishment is getting through school, and being a good man. Now I'm on a pathway I'm hungry for and want to succeed in. I'm ambitious and ready to become the pride my parents set out here for, I believe we all have our time to shine and I want to use my positions and strengths in being neurodivergent to succeed, I don't know what that looks like yet but I hope to find it here with you.
