Tl;dr: Dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proven track record in development and data analysis. Seeking opportunities to utilize my strong relationship-building skills, data analysis skills, and customer first mindset to drive client success, capitalize on customer trends and foster long-lasting partnerships. I am a storyteller. Whether it's telling the company's story to a customer or finding a story hidden in a sprawling data set, I thrive on creating and telling stories. Stories are how we connect with the world and with each other. I'd like to tell you the story of the work I'm proudest of: my work as Development Director for Theatre Prometheus. Theatre Prometheus is a small, award-winning theater company based out of Washington DC. Their mission is to tell diverse, queer, feminist stories and make theater more equitable and accessible for all. I served as their second-ever director of development, which meant a lot of work and a big reward. I created their first donor database from scratch, establishing the database architecture, data maintenance best practices, and processes for entering and updating records that would live long past my tenure. In addition, I was the philanthropic face of the organization, the first point on contact for all donors and grant makers. I was the first person to tell prospective donors our story, show them my excitement and the passion of our artists. I was proud to tell people about our anti-racism commitments, our plan to pay all of our actors, technicians and staff a living wage, our deliberate inclusion of marginalize faces and voices in our productions. The work I did enabled the rest of the organization to create and make the world better. At the end of the day, I want the stories I tell to help other achieve their dreams. I want to use my data analysis and relationship building skills to help others do, live and be their best.
