About Me

As a prospective employee, I thrive in environments that actually have quotas and deadlines. Please, be clear with your expectations. As long as I have the training and skills to achieve them, I will likely exceed them (most of the time). When I'm high-energy I tend to make it a goal to beat my own record with these goals, and have shown improvement when that success is recognized. Outside of work, I tend to hyperfocus on creative interests - writing, Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft, drawing, watercolor painting, and karaoke to name a few. Every few months, though, I do explore others. (I keep starting and stopping a Bullet Journal trying to one day nail the habit down, and I had a vegetable garden during the pandemic that I hope to bring back.) I love animals - I have a husky mix who is more anxious than I am and a tortishell cat who always seems to know when I need affection. I am somewhat actively working toward the goal of outlining and drafting a novel, and would be elated to work in a field or company in which I can build connections with other writers or editors. However, I have found other fields fulfilling as well, even those unrelated to my special interests. If the work is engaging, I am motivated.
