About Me

I have a sharp eye for accuracy and a sharp ear for a well-crafted sentence. In addition to my aptitude for clear communication, my curiosity and empathy drive me to fully understand the context of my work in order to tailor my approach and explore deeper questions. These skills have served me well in editing and proofreading work, which I thoroughly enjoy; it feels like my brain was built for it. However, I am also open to career opportunities in the other areas I have worked in (writing, marketing, business analysis) as well as other roles that would be a good fit for my skills. The majority of my work experience has been remote, so I am experienced with communicating and collaborating in remote work environments.

Ideal Workplace Values

I'm passionate about the neurodiversity movement and would be thrilled to be part of a team that is openly supportive of neurodivergence, something that I believe truly benefits all employees regardless of neurotype.

Neuroexceptional Talents

My unique combination of both structured and flexible thinking is really helpful for work that requires attention to detail but also tends to have complex or shifting priorities. I have a razor-sharp eye for accuracy and quality, but I know that "accuracy" and "quality" aren't always clear-cut so I'm comfortable adapting my approach if priorities or circumstances change. My brain naturally identifies and "locks in" criteria for a task or project, however simple or complex they may be, but I can also lock in new or adjusted criteria as needed. I think my flexibility stems from my empathy and curiosity. Understanding the perspectives of end users and my teammates is very important to me, which makes me care deeply about my work as well as eager to collaborate.
