About Me

#adhd

One of my earliest memories is the flashing cursor sitting on the black MS-DOS screen as I entered the commands to launch my favorite FPS at the time (Duke Nukem). Fast forward to high school and all I can think about is learning how games and web sites are made. This was the start of my passion for computers and all things tech. Over the years I moved away from tech and worked in several other industries from food production and restaurants to warehousing. Each time, something would draw me back into tech to help automate or ease my nightly work load. When I worked in warehousing, I quickly became tired of computing my daily KPIs manually and then entering them into the computer. Instead, I began setting up small programs to automate the task for me. This reignited a spark in me to relearn a more modern coding language and get back into software engineering again. One of the things I noticed during the pandemic, those businesses with a web presence were thriving while others fell behind. This rekindled my passion for web design and has allowed me to pursue new avenues in my local community. I’m currently working with HTML5 (Responsive & Mobile first approach), CSS (CSS3, SASS) and JavaScript. I am incredibly passionate about learning additional technologies such as Python and GO and adding them to my knowledge base!
