What You Will Do

<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools in order to perform systems engineering tasks including:</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Deriving and analyzing requirements, defining system logical and physical architectures, defining interfaces</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Interface with team leads, team members, and other teams (Software and Hardware) on a daily basis and provide task progress status updates</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Participate in customer and/or internal technical reviews throughout the product lifecycle</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Ensure consistent application of engineering best practices and comply with EDSI standard processes</li>

What You Will Learn
<ul style="margin-top: 0cm;" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l4 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four assignments to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications You Must Have
<ul style="margin-top: 0cm;" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering or a related field</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Minimum 3.0 GPA</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l0 level1 lfo3; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications We Prefer
<ul style="margin-top: 0cm;" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Knowledge of systems engineering functions, and prior exposure to systems engineering principles, theories, concepts and techniques</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Experience using a SysML modeling tool, such as IBM Rhapsody &reg;, Cameo/MagicDraw &reg;, or equivalent</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Experience with Agile development methods</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment to produce deliverable products</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Skilled at anticipating problems and planning to mitigate them</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Experience communicating clear, courteous, and effective messages to a broad audience.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Experience with Microsoft Office</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list: l2 level1 lfo4; tab-stops: list 36.0pt;">Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance</li>
